Once again, the BTU is what the end user is buying, not total tons.

If PO for coal is ~$90/ton, then probably this is high BTU coal, commonly refered to as "met coal", used for production of steel. If so, that's why India and China want it. Once production levels are proven to be maintainable, it can bring a higher price. I've heard that met coal is bringing $100-120/ton.
