What gives you the faith now, that signing a deal with Samsung for 3G will be kept by Samsung. because we've learned lots of lessons from badly written contracts in the past & we'll have a better one this time We had a deal with them for 2G and they have been jerking IDCC around for years. we had an apparently poorly written MFL clause A deal is a deal is a deal. Samsung hosed IDCC and its shareholders. Please do not act like IDCC is responsible for this ordeal. where did I EVER suggest that IDCC was responsible?? IDCC is now entitled to money from Samsung that is actually less than what is rightfully owed from the deal that was originally written and signed by Samsung and IDCC. I agree.

In general, we should let IDCC mgmt handle this. I agree Because we as shareholders always have the option to buy, sell or hold.

It feels as though I've preached a little today, but only because there are some whose posts sound to me like they want Samsung's blood and it also sounds as though they're willing to gamble the future on rulings yet-to-come. Those who want blood come across like members of a cult, not like investors.

I'm much more pragmatic; I want a BIG jump in share price & that comes from 3G. So long as we haven't COLLECTED on 2G from Sammy we have some chips to trade for a 3G agreement. Once we cash the 2G check, we're back at war with them for 3G. At least that's the way I see it.
