Sirus...Only in this sense, as I can't count the cost of the patent filings in the 80's, which exceeded 100K. That filing multiple international patent filings and a new US filing on "utilities" would easily exceed that...and in spades.
Only reference I can give personally is a patent "search" before filing on a tennis racket shock absorbing solution this Jan. cost $3K and the subsequent filing patent application would have cost me $30K+.
Actually, as Need has filed 17 apps and re-apps for one filing, he/she is in a far better position for giving an estimate than I.
The international filings are not trivial...btw.
