ahh, i know what you mean. Past ownerrship sure left a sour taste in people's mouths! and i can understand!

Im a small time player, so a loss to me, is a tax writeoff, i can imagine if a company screwed me for more i would be upset.

This company, IMHO, acknowledged the mistakes past management made, and is trying to correct it. Think about it, if they indeed DONT do what they say they will, THEY WILL NEVER (Santini, FFGO, etc) ever be taken serious again...so a young CEO such as Santini would have a "stigma" or a "scarlet letter" on him for the rest of his business career.
