You can read this or check out more product info on www.birdstep.com , but you`re comment on MSFT being a competitor of Birdstep is completly wrong and ridiculous. The Birdstep can interact with Home agent/Forein Agent from Cisco, Nortel, Linux, HP, Sun and others and it can interact with VPN solutions from checkpoint, microsoft, Nortel and Cisco. The client can automaticly close/open VPN, this is one of the unique things. As far as i know CLYW will have to compete with som of these solutions.
