Some great questions that we can only guess the answers to. IMO, IDCC has been too passive in dealing with IPR infringers. QCOM doesn't ask Nokia, LU, MOT, SAMSUNG to pay, THEY DEMAND IT. It is almost like nice guys finish last in this business and IDCC should go out and hire some mean and nasty executives. If there was any time in this companies history to take the gloves off NOW IS THE TIME..

QCOM went for the jugular right away and kicked Nokia butt in court. Now everyone fears them so they pay. IDCC pussyfooted around with ERICSSON for 10 years and then let Nokia play the phase II shell game for the last 3.

It is time for IDCC to put a contract in front of LG with NEC numbers for 3G and ERICSSON numbers for 2G and DEMAND THEM TO SIGN. They say wait I say 7 days. They say they need more time I say OK another 7 days. They come back for more time YOU HIT THEM WITH A LAW SUIT.
