Nokia has the paid-up right to use the TDD technology in its products. However, Nokia does not have the right to sublicense or passthrough the TDD technology to others. IDCC retained ownership of the TDD technology, including the technology that was developed during the engineering contract with Nokia. Therefore, IDCC has the right to license the TDD technology to others, not Nokia.
