sgolds, I agree. Intel woke up to the fact that AMD could finally be a competitor. The question is how fast does a large ship like Intel turn around? In this forum, we all know that cpu designs takea long time. So, the question remains. When did Intel start turning around internally and can they meet all the goals they set for themselves or are these new "roadmaps" just for OEM consumption so they don't jump ship to AMD? I think a wait and see attitude would be prudent. Let's see which of these targets can Intel hit.
