Basbas, ITM have posted some interesting videos on their website
I`ve had a detailed look at one of them… the Roush presentation by John Mitchell
Like all video presentations what you finally see is a cut and paste job ……”editing” to the professional movie makers
John tries to give the impression he is doing this interview off the cuff. He certainly wasn’t reading a script and will have rightly chosen to try to come across natural and conversational which he did pretty well
However given the importance of the video to Roush he will have been working off bullet points on a story board held by somebody
Having done this kind of thing myself the difficulty with bullet points is always in sticking to the message Every rerun you say something slightly different
If you let the video run on to the very end you will see an earlier silent version of what was said I hope nothing too secret was said unintentionally as it would only take a smart lip reader to work out what it was

He has done a pretty good job at sticking to the message except for letting slip that Roush will have a Ford Transit powered by an ITM fuel cell in August 2009
You have to listen carefully as it isn’t expressed in those words but he clearly says that a fuel cell version of “that” pointing to the van will be available in a years time
There is an attempt to edit a repeat of this comment later on which results in a couple of words of gibberish
There are a number of highly significant technical and commercial conclusions with massive sp implications that can be inferred about the working relationships between Roush, Ford and ITM from the message which I will summarise in a later post on this BB
All in all I was extremely pleased almost ecstatic by the
information it revealed
ps I wouldnt be a bit surprised if ITM replace this video over the weekend with one that wipes the silent bit
