China Mobile opens bidding for 40,000 TD-SCDMA/CMMB handsets for Olympics

Shanghai. July 9. INTERFAX-CHINA - China Mobile has begun the bidding process for 40,000 TD-SCDMA handsets capable of receiving CMMB (China Multimedia Mobile Broadcasting) mobile TV signals in preparation for the Olympics, an official close to the situation confirmed on July 8.
