I beleive that it is very much about sectors. The NASDAQ and specifically the communications sector was/is being sold off in a big way. We had a major rally in Jan/Feb.

LU for example was $2.89 Jan 2nd.

2-Jan-04 2.89 3.15 2.86 3.12 98,770,600 3.12

3 weeks later it hits $4.52

27-Jan-04 4.52 4.70 4.50 4.52 129,629,904 4.52

Same can be said for NT, UTSI, CSCO, SWIR, NVTL, etc..etc..

From what I've seen over the years money moves in sync. It goes into sectors and out of sectors. I guess it is kind of like institutional grocery shopping. They buy accross the sector and sell accross the sector.

It is murder trying to buck these trends. I know I've gotten murdered the last 2 months. I beleive the NASDAQ will be back and the communications sector will rebound. Bought some LU yesterday during the crash.

CSCO has had a habit of setting the tone for this sector. If CSCO shines tonight maybe we get a turn around.
