From the other board yahoo Just spoke with Bobby Blackburn of Whitestar!! 5-Jul-08 06:27 pm Hi everyone, its Saturday afternoon, just got off the phone with Bobby Blackburn from Whitestar Mining. I was able to get his cell number and gave him a call. I talked with him for about 15 minutes, was a real nice guy and very open to answering my questions.
I Asked him wether there was any truth about a recent post that said they were going to be delayed another 1-2 months due to cross-cuts that needed to be done. He said that was completly UNTRUE and that he assured me that this week, very likely wednesday they would be mining coal! He also said that there was likely a misunderstanding, the person that called and talked to Msha director may have said that it had taken them (Whitestar) 1-2 months to get to the coal, which is true, said cutting through all that rock, has been some of the toughest work hes done in his 30 years of mining.
He also gave me a more detailed explanation as to there progress. He said they have seven headings in the mine 1, 2, 5 which are done and ready to be mined, they are finishing up with their cross-cuts on the others over the next couple days (they are working Sunday), and that their Spat crew (Alchemy Engineering) is coming on Monday to finish their work as well.
To sum all this up, Bobby Blackburn himself has Qmnm shares and wants to see them go much higher than .020! They are working 10 hour shifts to meet expectations and are as excited as all of us to get in to production. Everyone can feel very confident in their investment with Qmnm.
