It sure looks like I was wrong when I said management couldn't give guidance, but like I said, be careful what you wish for.

"Rich Fagan, Chief Financial Officer commented, "Assuming our key licensees continue to perform well, we expect recurring royalties from our existing licensees to be in the range of $27 million to $30 million per quarter over the remainder of 2004"

Anybody willing to bet that Bloomberg and Dow Jones takes the above comment and states that IDCC's revenue going forward is expected to decline by 10-20% and make it seem negative? I know I would have been happier if they kept quiet about this because it is nothing more than a guess that will turn out to be wrong with the first new licensee. The problem is most reporters haven't got a clue as to IDCC's revenue streams and will just report the facts which will be misleading. We shouldn't be giving guidance until the revenue base is larger and the reporters know more about IDCC to fully understand how they derive their revenue.
