It's not like the oil is pouring out of the ground, al la Beverly Hillbillies. 10 ~ 12 BOD was projected per well (probably best case) and claimed 70% success rate on drilling of wells, even with all of the seismic data. To me, that is speculative. I would hasten to say that most Bankers and or Underwriters are going to feel the same way.
