An interesting, Relevant Factoid...maybe...???

re; Naked short selling of Nasdaq stocks...

I have traded/followed Photon Dynamics (PHTN) for years...
Yesterday morning, before pre-market trading there was a news release that Orbatek was Buying Photon Dynamics for cash ($15.60/shr)...When the stock began trading, even in premarket with Zero volume, the Bid was well over $15...Thats where it started, and traded all day long...in a tight range in the $15s...

What I find interesting is that well over 7,200,000 shares traded for the day...Who would be buying in quantity other than shorts needing to cover...???...Another 3.800,000 shares traded today...

Last reported short interest was only 980K or so...


hmmmm...???


Makes me wonder the Actual short interest in IDCC, when you include the MMs...

Undeniably Good News release will expose it one day...


Maybe next week we find out...
