zen, when arriving at "B" from "A", if "A" is not correct, your conclusion, "B", will never be correct.
"SKS is predicting..."
LOL. Yours is the funniest post I've read in a long time. Sorry to bring it up, but I almost spit up my lunch reading that. Have we not learned from years and years and hundreds of SKS half-truthed misconceptions?
Every year a certain group of posters continue to claim there is some technology, or some "thing" that will produce sales and revenues for Wave. The announcements are many:
MSFT Server 2008 announcement
NSCB announcement
TVTonic and NBC
Seagate FDE
Seagate FDE NIST Certification
NTT Data
What Wave needs to do is two things:
1) Focus on the Dell road show, and start up their core business, TPM/ETS/FDE upgrades. Exploit the need for security and ramp up sales now!
2) Leverage the Dell road show to land more tier-1 OEMs to bundle and increase their bundling license fees, landing more marketing, and road shows, to increase market penetration.
90% of Wave's revenues come from ETS upgrades and bundling fees. As a result, you invest in what makes you money.
Barge and his close-following can continue to post about consumer side stuff, but there is nothing that will support any meaningful revenues from consumers for at least another 18-24 months. I, and others, have been saying that for years. Why certain people just don't understand this very visible fact is beyond me.
Wave will NEVER be perceived as a real company until they hit B/E.
