Even if we say (for the sake of argument) that this never makes it past .0005 by the end of summer, well look what's possible...
Invest $1000 at the bid, and by the end of summer if you sell at .0005 you're up to $2500. If you can only sell at ask, then you're still up to $2000.
If this goes higher, the profit increases enormously.
Yet even with a small uptick, the benefits are great. And say we go to no bid, Carol turns out to be a fugitive from justice, and Ed is nowhere to be found. Well you're down 1000, but a smart investor wouldn't invest money that he/she couldnt afford to lose anyway
