I do not disagree - and believe my gut feel might actually support your gut feel under the right circumstance. If a low cost buy back is slowly occuring with limited available funds (rather than tieing in?), Bruce/PPTL are better positioned for establishing terms - especially if the deal involves stock/options (an investor) rather than simply interest (a lender).
