Amongst the speculation about Wavepress, I personally thought the idea of it being used to suport the Olympic content distribution by Microsoft was more plausible than it being sold to someone for $40 million. Such a deal would raise its profile, perhaps change the market perception of its value and give Wave a boost. Given the announcements to date, its tough to tell whether this possibility is more or less likely. Certainly it would be highly discouraging and damaging if SKS raised expectations and then did not deliver anything.
