Yes thanks for the update iahawkeye. John would also be keen to get an update through your eyes on the Albertan season when you have a spare moment. Also any snippets on the beef sector would be valued. I am guessing there'll be plenty of wheat and canola unless it is on the drier side?

This is no one man band. The board is as informative as everyone makes it. Thanks everyone for contributing even if it is intermittently. Will post an Australian winter crop summary in the next week or so. 14 day forecast is dry for the souther cropping zones unfortunately. WA got rainfall yesterday (fairly widespread and around the 5-8mm mark). John lots of canola crops have started to head up here which is extremely early because of moisture stress. This now makes them vulnerable to frost damage which we can get in the hour or two before sunrise on the sunny days.
