Gday Tackler. Can't tell you how demand from the Midwest will be affected short term by this but I would have thought and you'll likely agree that hyperinflation across most of the ag commodity complex would be very friendly to potash usage moreso in the developing world. That is where rationing was potentially possible. We need those poorer farmers to be very confident to fertilize properly and not skimp. High crop values give farmers confidence whether you are a 50 year old paddy farmer in Sichaun Province or a 30 year old corn grower in Iowa. But from the sounds of our mate ol Bill Doyle though it sounds as though rationing will likely come from the supply side before demand destruction occurs whatever the scenario.
