Hate to argue w/ you as I respect your opinion and I agree w/ many things you post. However, for one thing the "new" process can produce in one day what the "old" process could produce in one month.
As for Apple and SONY failing to meet demand, it is well known that they over promote and under produce to maintain an inflated price for product,and the lemmings buy and buy. On the other hand opening day for Nicosan was a DISASTER by any calculation and the responsibility falls to DP.
Akinyanju is not so much a problem as an excuse. In a country where millions need relief, where children are dying, the people would trample a bureaucrat that stood in their way if, IF the co. adequately marketed and produced the DRUG.
Amongst other things, I do agree that the corp. structure may best be served w/ a VP of sales and mkting, so long as top mgmt knows that THIS is where it is at.
