Count me among those that "don't think this is a worthy investment". You raise an interesting question though: why follow the board and keep posting? This poses an interesting psychological question as well.
I believe a lot of posters in this category are disgruntled former (or even current) shareholders. They may have an axe to grind against management, or they may just want to inform other shareholders of the risk. I am probably guilty of both. Additionally, I am angry at myself - after following these guys for over 15 years and knowing their track record, I still invested.
My motives are not altogether altruistic, but certainly don't fall into the "shorter" category, whereby an attempt is made to drive the price down so that I can buy back in. It's almost like watching a car wreck: you can't take your eyes away.
And somewhere in there is a bit of a hope that they can pull it off, because I have no desire to see anyone lose their money like I did (yourself included). It's almost like I'm on an information crusade, and I can't standby and watch the wool get pulled over naive investors' eyes.
Too much free time on my hands I guess. Hope you become a millionaire, but you won't do it investing in these type of stocks.
