depends. A lot of shells do RS's. Some dont care and do FS's and those seem to move really well, even to the dollars b/c of FS players. CKDN is unique b/c this guy took over his own old shell! Just like the CEO of CHML that I recently found. Also there are many others that do it. Some do it b/c they wait for taxes to ride over or state debt rules. Sometimes there seems to be a 10 yr rule. You see a lot of out of business 97 shells get redone in 2007 and 98 in 2008 and so on.

But since this guy still has his own shares he would much less likely do a RS. Its seems they are reusing it for their private co. Some other people would just sell their old shell for cash. Even if so that way the RS factor is still less likely. B/c some shells these guys dont get those insider shares from the old CEO etc. In that case they increase the AS and get those extra shares. That way a RS is most likely. Just depends on what the lawyer did when acquiring the shell, whether a good business takeover or a negative corporate takeover you hear about when they just take it by force. Heck most of that time is prob b/c they cant find the old insiders. A lot of these people dont want anything to do with their old co or in a lot of cases they pass away or something.
