I understand that some of their pages were updated a few months ago, but the page that was brought up as "new" hasn't been touched since 2006.

It's not linked to any page that is in use. It has a like to one page that is under construction and another that doesn't even exist. It appears to be an idea that they had that never came to fruition...like:

"Heritage has 26 contractual obligations to fund, for its proprietary commercial loans, called BCLOCs, totaling approximately $740 million. Funding for many of the 26 contractual obligations is expected to be completed in 2006 with the remainder in the first
half of 2007."

"Wilmington, DE (December 21, 2006) - Heritage Capital Credit Corporation (OTC: HCPC) together with a related financial guaranty company First Life Financial Corporation (FLFC) announce that they have signed a non-binding Letter of Intent to merge with a London Based insurance company to form an insurance holding company based in the United States."

There are a host of other actions HCPC has "intended" to take and things they had planned on doing...many of which never happened. Things such as merging with a London based company, retaining a PR firm, uplisting in 1996, buying back shares, and more recently, publishing first quarter finanacials in early April.

There are plenty of more great ideas they had listed here:
