Well, I was surprised at first. (no smelling salts needed) But before reacting to the news I did some DD. Anyone doing their DD will notice that Virtra's IR telephone number has changed from 832 to 480 area code. There is a bigger picture here that won't be revealed for a while, but after it comes to light many might say "ahhhh, thats why these things are happening."
My longshot guess is that the company may be moving and Dalby did not want to relocate, but again, its just speculation.

Anyone here that followed the board long term remembers when we discussed how the US Military/Government sales never seemed to keep up with the Local Law Enforcement sales. The company, over the last 6 years, put way too much of there hopes on military contracts that never had the funding, hence Dalby's initial employment. He has done a great job as CEO with all the fires he had to put out. I wish him luck.

The company needs to focus on more marketing, trade shows and product awareness. For this they need cash.
IMO, we are going to see more restructuring in the coming months to shift sales revenue toward raising cash and lower administrative costs.

If overhead goes down and sales stay the same or increase then Virtra should be in the black sooner then later.
