Trunk, I asked specific questions to the company about how the remaining employees were being paid. The answer I received was that none of the employees were receiving a salary at present. This was something they collectively agreed upon as a group. They are of course keeping track of this and will be paid up once the company starts making money. No stock options mentioned as payment, but was told they do have stock options which hold no value at the current price.
Draw your own conclusions why dedicated employees would continue to remain working for this company without pay. The only conclusion I come up with is they are getting close to some very positive news, and are willing to make such a sacrifice because they see better days ahead for the company.
