You're certainly entitled to your opinion, whatever it is. But I don't agree with sweeping generalizations like that.
I don't believe there is any ONE reason for anything. When someone says "only reason", then right out the gate, I KNOW they are trying to over-sell me on their opinion. In terms of writing, it is a technique called "hyperbole" which means "figure of speech not intended to be taken literally".
Ultimately, stocks and their prices respond MAINLY to market forces, just like commodities. This stock is in the "penny category" primarily because someone is willing to sell it at that price level, while others are willing to pay that price. Try to sell your shares at $5 and watch what happens.
The other fallacy I might point out is that some people tend to believe strongly that the PPS of a stock is directly connected to the fortunes or success of the company. I don't agree with that either. Sometimes a stock of a terrible company can do really well, while the stock of a great company can languish. The E21 clubs might be absolutely the best clubs available, but that is obviously NOT reflected in the PPS, not yet anyway.
The point being, NOT everything in life is as it appears to be. So if you want to know the truth then you must constantly question your own assumptions. Don't ever allow yourself to get locked in to one viewpoint. Stay non-committed so you can react quickly to the changes, which are inevitable.
