I am shocked, shocked that IDCC stockholders don't trust the two largest and most prestigious international mobile phone producers to pay reasonable licensing fees for the best available technology. I am not sure that the fact that Samsung management has been replaced because of bribes and corruption in Korea is relevant. As for Nokia, they appear to be simply exploring every legal avenue to assure themselves that they are not being exploited by avaricious patent holders. Certainly, large successful businesses can be relied upon to act ethically.
Our legal system is the best in the world and surely can be trusted to provide swift and equable justice to all.
If you doubt what I have written above you must conclude that the mobile phone industry is dominated by immoral companies that will go to any lengths to avoid paying reasonable licensing fees.
The US legal system is rife with incompetence and ponderous procedures which favor the richest entities and deny justice to the weak and less well endowed.
Arbitration is unreliable and easily delayed by the unscrupulous
corporations mentioned above.
I am trying to decide whether to vote for IDCC management or not.
DUH!
