Sometimes a hammer works on those Chevy starters, and just about everything else for that matter. Especially if laying on a sheet of ice (or hot asphalt) is the alternative.

My Chevy's been stalling out at traffic lights, and after much research it seems to trace back to GM's wonderful design on fuel injection. Some states such as California have a special warranty up to 200,000 miles, and my fingers are crossed Florida has the same lemon protection as the stock market, fix it without admitting or denying guilt.

One of my brothers has been working at GM so long all he has to do is show up and play cards and watch t-v all night. Break time and lunch consist of trips to the parking lot where he and his pals toss back shots of whiskey and tell lies. That's if he decides to go in, of course. Seems they're all real good down there about punching the clock for one another whenever somebody has transmission problems like getting their ass in gear.

...Think I'll call and wake him up to an ass chewing right now, come to think of it. He needs to figure out a way to make these things so women and children can fix them. Dammit.
