It's easy to call the doom!

Admittedly, these days it is gloomy, at least as seen from the current share price...

Many years ago I once posted that I wouldn't want to be invested in WAVX without some deeper understanding of the technology and what it means to deploy this paradigm breaking approach to securing "the net"... and I still am of the same opinion.

The technically inclined, and there are many, clearly see that the present and soon to be deployed technology (TPM, Virtualization, Secure Execution Environment etc.) is a necessity for the econmoies of the world to function in cyberspace.

All the big technology players have endorsed this roadmap, have and are incorporating the new bits and pieces as they become available.

Billions of dollars have been spent on R&D to define and develop this ground breaking technology. It IS being deployed and, once a sufficient number of hardware platforms are available in the market, some services and applications leveraging the transitive trust model have already appeared (i.e. FDE drives) and many more are surely to follow in rapid order. True services will follow at a most rapid pace.

It is however a fact that education of PC OEMs, sales channel partners and end users has taken much too long a time. Nobody in his right mind would have predicted such a long development time to market. But now - right now - the there is a relativly large customer base that is adopting it; some are in the piloting phase, some are actively deploying.

The current share price is ridulously low; it reflects a total disconnect to the potential of the technology. It however reflects the past performance of the company. Not the future possibilites.

So while the current pressure on the stock is no doubt fueled by the selling of investors that can't take it anymore there seems to be a fair share of (naked ?? ) shorting going on. This shorting is likely precipitated by the market's anticipation for the need of further financing on the open market, a need for money that should become imminent very soon.

While many here have issues with managemnt (me included) about predictions and pat guidance, make no mistake though, all these people are intelligent people.

They ain't no dummies and they will not let Wave fail at the last moment because of a lack of operating capital. !

Good luck to all those that are liquidating now. I can understand the emotional aspects of the decision, but I can and do not understand the rationalizing.
