Data Protection:
Trusted Drives, such as Seagate Momentus FDE.2 with an onboard security controller and embedded capabilities for media-speed full disk encryption and pre-boot authentication can be activated using the Wave’s EMBASSY® Trust Suite with Trusted Drive Manager to protect against data loss due to a lost or stolen PC.
Strong Authentication:
Embedded TPM Technology puts a hardware root-of-trust in each individual TPM-enabled PC. The TPM root-of-trust enables the strongest level of authentication into any enterprise domain. Wave’s EMBASSY® Trust Suite will allow the client computer to enable the TPM with strong authentication solutions.
Centralized Management of Trusted Platforms:
Wave’s EMBASSY® Remote Administration Server enables centralized IT Administration to remotely deploy and manage PC clients that are equipped with Trusted Platform Modules (TPM) and/or Seagate Momentus® FDE.2 Drives.
DESCRIPTION
Wave Systems Corp. will be providing a hands-on workshop to do a walk-through of client and server solutions for a Full Disk Encryption hard drive based on functionality under development in the TCG Storage Workgroup and a Network security solution for secure domain login based upon the TCG standards for the Trusted Platform Module. The TCG Workshop will cover:
Remote administration of Seagate Momentus fully encrypting drives for management, compliance, and administration of the hardware-based full disk encryption.
Centralized control of distributed TPM‘s in systems to provision identities and authorization from Active Directory.
Remote enablement, ownership and management of TPMs.
The participant will experience:
Secure and Convenient user authentication data protection using a Trusted Drive and Windows Login
Drive password recovery
TPM management through remote console
Network Security using Strong Authentication with TPM-based VPN, 802.1x to network, and multifactor including biometrics.
