The pig cull is in part due to new US 'Country of Origin' labeling rules.. so fear is Canucky pigs will be less desirable... but all this stuff is like any other commodity... The cure for low prices is low prices and vice versa..

Assuming you are a US resident the 9-12 lb is hugely because the USD is being trashed as you know.. Up here we have had the opposite circumstance.. Prime rib up here is regularly on special
much lower than Angus.. 4.99ish
