Fullmoon... HAP...

The first posts about HAP date back some (I believe) two years on two other boards. General Dynamics has been at the heart of this work... in conjunction with Intel.

What I think is the really good news here is that the NSA is EXPLICITLY ENDORSING the use TPMs for THE MOST SENSITIVE MILITARY AND INTELLIGENCE DATA. That's the news.

It should come as no surprise given the NSA's long-term involvement with the TCG.

For those of us who've maintained that this would be the case--in the face of cynicism and garden-variety ignorance--this is expected news. For ALL OF US who want our government to protect our Personally Identifiable Information, this is pointing toward GREAT NEWS.

If TPMs are good enough for our country's MOST SENSITIVE information (intelligence and military)... and certified as such by the NSA... they are (given their commodity price and immediate availability) MORE THAN ACCEPTABLE for protecting SS#s and other PII.
