Jai, you said the following in excerpts of your posts.

1) This is starting to feel like stock jail and Nokia is parole. Every time we get up for parole we get motion denied and have to sit another year.

2) My biggest disppointment is that I now feel IDCC does not care about its shareholders.

3)Kind of like being mugged and calling a cop when the cop shows up he takes your watch.

From the excertps above you seem to be in a quandry about your IDCC investment. If this company causes you such agina, why not amend your holdings.

As to the excerpts listed above, I would like to advise you of the following.

a)Nokia is not parole. In fact this is a jail without walls and no one investor was put here after being found guilty of a crime. One can vote with their feet and leave this so called jail anytime they wish. There are no walls, towers, cells, prison guards or guns. Anyone here has imposed themselves to the sentence of awaiting Nok/Sam and on and on and on.

b)If you truly feel that IDCC does not care about it's shareholders, why stick around? Heck even a junk yard dog will leave if they are not being treated fairly and fed frequently. Unlike a bad marriage there are no sanctions against one cutting their losses and moving on.

Because the company like a mate does not suit our every need and whim does not mean they do not care about you or the family. One overly dependent on others is bound to be disappointed. Self fulfillment and the ability to make choices are wonderful to the feeling of independence. Either you are aware of what you have or you are not.

c)As for calling a cop and having the cop take your watch, that is a terrible thing to happen to someone who called the cop as a saviour. In this case I would say you need to move to a better town where the cops would be more people oriented and trained as to what they can not do.

Happy investing to you. But if I was having your thoughts I would throw in the towel on this investment and move on. Maybe even come back and look in from time to time to see if things have improved in the old neighborhood. You never know it might be going upscale while you are away.
