Obviously I am not an attorney, but is this really a big deal? Today was the first day that all the filings that had to be made were made in order for the CCA to make a decision, and they made that decision quickly. The 2nd circuit knows that time is of the essence and I would hope they will review the filings this week and issue a ruling by the end of the week as to IDCC's request for a stay. Is this too much to ask for?

Isn't this better than had the CCA taken all week to come to the conclusion they didn't have jurisdiction then transfer the case to the 2nd circuit? This seems like the quickest response to an IDCC request that I can remember. I don't see any loss of momentum but I don't have the experience that you and others do with these matters. Using common sense, to me it seems things can still get ruled on by the end of the week even with the transfer, assuming we don't hear about a settlement before week's end that is (fingers crossed as I type this LOL).

I am amazed that the CCA did not take jurisdiction of this mess. I honestly do not know how anyone advises a client anymore. I guess there is no such thing as precedent any more. I am really getting disgusted watching pure junk stick to the wall. Hopefully the 2nd Circuit will do the right thing. I wish I could just go to sleep and wake up on the 17th to a roar from KoP. We just cannot seem to sustain momentum.
