OT: Word of advice, don't ever, EVER open a Wachovia online checking/savings account.

I did so about 3 months ago, specifically in order to open a Brokerage account with them. They require an established checking/savings account, open for 90 days with an average balance of $1000.

I did just that, but after 2 months I figured screw it. So I withdrew all the money.

HOWEVER, Wachovia charges a $3 fee to withdraw money out to a Non-wachovia bank account (cheap bastards). So when I withdrew the FULL AMOUNT of funds I had in my checking account, the $3 fee was NOT deducted from that full amount, it was ADDED ON TO IT.........so I was charged a $25 unsufficient funds fee.

AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH

So between 1 previous withdrawal, and this one, and the unsufficient funds fee, I was out $31 without even using the stupid checking account. LOL

They FINALLY decided to give back the $25 fee, BUT I can't close the account before 6 months after opening the account, or I will be charged an early closing fee of $25.

THEY FRIGGIN SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm surprised they don't charge me a wachovia website access fee, or a breathing fee.
