My guess is you are right. The preferred shares will be used to raise the money to get things started. With a revenue producing property the money coming in covers all costs. 3-6 months down the road the property is apprasied and combined with its record of revenue generation, additional funds can be raised. It's almost the end of the month and the first rent checks will be due. Guessing the revenue generation has already started.
