IMO, the problem with Drake's information dissemination vehicles isn't that they are not better written. It's that they are intentionally written to convey overly optimistic circumstances. Let's examine a few. ( The following are all IMO.)

Drake's report that said they could produce gold before being granted permits. The problem with that report wasn't that it was poorly written. Does ANYONE really believe Drake management didn't know that was false information?

On Feb 4th a PR said that Dove would crate their equipment for shipment "as soon as possible". The desired affect of that information was to lead people to think that it was just a matter of a few days to crate it up, and it would be on a ship to Georgia. After all, they didn't need permits to set up and start mining! Production was just around the corner! The information had the desired affect. If there is any doubt of that, just go back and read what was being said by the True Believers back in February.

The PR on bulk sample results is another example of Drake disingenuousness. Giving the value of the highest of 35 samples is meaningless. Sample results are all about the average of all samples. BTW, where is the full report? How long does it take to add up all values and divide by 35?

The Drake Permitting Update is uncharacteristically frank. The message is that the process is much more involved and lengthy than previously implied.

Here is my guess as to what may have motivated the Update. Drake finally actually contacted the Georgia Surface Mining Unit about their permits. The Unit Manager, being very familiar with the bad information that Drake had put out, re-permitting, may have advised them to advise their investors of the reality of the State permitting process.

However, they reverted to the Old Drake information ways with the part about Dove equipment. "We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Explorer 500 from Dove Mining Equipment". Now, what message is that intended to convey? WOW! The ship must be due any day now!

Queen Isabella could have justifiably said "We anxiously await Columbus's return from his voyage." She had no idea when he would return or even where he had been. But if the Dove equipment is even scheduled for shipment, Drake knows exactly what the date is. Why wouldn't a transparent Company, with lots of investors anxiously awaiting solid news, take this opportunity to provide it?

I've read many times that DKGR I-Hub has intelligent posters. No doubt. Also ,no doubt, I'm not the only one that has similar opinions regarding DKGR's PRs. Yet they are rarely openly discussed on this Board by the True Believers. Why? I think paid_pumper is learning why. His attemps at open discussion are not being well recieved.
