With all the existing testament to a man named Jesus, I would have to accept this as evidence that he existed. However, I would also have to accept the fact he died same as the rest of us since there's been no sightings of his rise since. In fact, he was supposed to return much sooner but never did - reminds me of Houdini, after his death people waited and waited for his promised return to no avail.

So, yes I believed there was a person named Jesus, but don't buy the rest this story for logical reasons. I do believe he must have been one hellova manipulator though and in part I feel that at the time there was a move by the church to use him and his story for their ends to manipulate the mind of the masses. This is the reason most of the books written about Jesus have never been included in the Bible.
