This is factually incorrect.

You can produce roughly 33% of what a full Jatropha tree would produce at one year and roughly 66% at two years. While it does take three years to fully mature; you can still garner oil from juvenile trees. To say it will take three years is simply not scientifically true.

With one hectare of land, you can plant 2,500 trees efficiently for max growth and production. Each adult tree can produce one gallon of biodiesel annually with current technology. Any advancements that Mr. Hirji may have made will only increase his production in my opinion.

Labor is dirt cheap in many third world nations, I would say almost criminal in most cases. That being said, the construction, planting and harvesting of Jatropha will not cost the 10s or 20s or even millions you claim. One or two "skilled" workers and the rest working for .20 cents a day (a kings ransom) and you can see where this is going.

The "critiquing" of this stock is the fiercest I have ever witnessed. It is simply amazing to watch at the ferocity and viciousness. It is going to be an interesting few weeks and months ahead in my opinion.
