Leadership Council Honors Greg Halpern of Circle Group - Successful Meeting Follows On Capitol Hill

WASHINGTON, April 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The National Small Public Company Leadership Council, a Washington, D.C. based group, that seeks to educate and inform the White House, U.S. Congress and federal agencies about issues impacting the nation's small publicly-traded companies, held its Annual Legislative and Regulatory Conference on April 1st at the Willard Inter- Continental Hotel with small business leaders and key members of congress.

Greg Halpern, Chief Executive Officer of Circle Group Holdings (Amex: CXN - News) was honored by the Leadership Council during a luncheon and presented the small public company "CEO of the Year" award by Hector Barreto, Administrator of the Small Business Administration in Washington, D.C. Among the issues discussed were capital formation, the Sarbanes-Oxley law and its impact on small public companies, SEC rules, Tax Reform measures and Government support for small enterprise companies.
