Hello Rein, thanks for the feedback on several topics today.
When I look at ZZ's, I set the size of the ZZ to the full buy/sell spread size on the equity, e.g. 30 for the typical 10/10/5 SAFE and min order size settings. Most graphing tools I have used default to something like 5, so be careful of this.
As for the CC's strike price, I tend to play very conservative and pick them far OTM. The way I think is that if the market actually drives the price up so far that I will have to surrender the shares, I will be even more happy with the wonderful return on the investment. This way I am happy if it goes up or if it goes down.
I did see your post on the No-down AIM, and I may be trying that sometime. Right now, I am sruggling with a back-test that is not working out the way I expected.
I decided to back-test TXN all the way from '72 to present (that was my first job out of college). I found that neither 10/10/5 nor 5/5/10 settings did well at all against B&H. This really troubles me because this one has certainly had the volatility. My current guess is that standard AIM cooks in an approximate 2.5% growth in the stock using the PC adjust on buys. So, if the stock grows more than that over an extended period, AIM loses ground to a B&H approach.
As for your English, I think is is very good. I lived in Holland for a year a long time ago, and I only got to the point that I could order a meal, ask clerks for what I wanted, and could give directions a little. I certainly did not get to where I could read or write Dutch. I do remember friendly neighbors and an enjoyable country. I am one American who admires all the people who are multi-lingual.
