It looks somewhat between 1/4 and 1/8, but Hans accounted for that in his density assumptions at the top of the photo. I would expect L2 cache to be less dense than L3, because it is closer to the CPU, likely runs faster, and therefore requires additional logic to reduce FIT rate.
