lowdawg, I'd try uninstalling the ATI package and reinstalling. For the DVI adapters, ordering them can be confusing. There's several different types of DVI connectors. DVI-I, DVI-D, DVI-S, etc. As far as I know, DVI-I is the only one used on newer vid cards. Plus it's the only one usually offered in the adapters. Edit: Looking into this farther, you need to check male/female on you connectors. Both "DVI/male to VGA/female" and vice versa are available.
