Isn't it obvious that in SpragueSpeak closed does not = booked!

Some folks decided a decade ago that SKS was not trustworthy. Others still trust him implicitly. The question, in my mind, is neither black nor white.

After ten years, I won't argue with anybody who says character is everything, but how do you measure character? We are as they say all sinners so do we all lack character?

SKS USES the language very carefully most of the time. I'm not worried about that. I do worry about whether the revenue growth will ever exceed the burn growth. Breakeven has grown to 7 million a quarter. I'm more concerned with some definitive SKS comments on future plans for the company than quibbling over minor revenue fluctuations. He may have closed those sales, but couldn't book them until some later date.

I remember when folks on this board wondered if Dell was a charade. Now we wonder whetherLenovo is real or a meaningless signed agreement with no revenue attached. SKS may have faked us out for a few quarters with Dell but revenue is now in the six million a year range and the growth rate is "significant"

Danbury, Server 08, Lenovo-- This thing is building. It will break through. Here's an old metaphor that seems appropriate:

The Trojan War...Took Ten Years. Nothing happened for a long time. Stalemate. Horse was built took a while. Nothing Happened. Then BOOM! The War was over. Past results do not always indicate the future. There are those who choose to see deception and an ultimate disregard and disaster for stockholders (DD). Others see what looks like a revenue growth curve that will become, is becoming a classic winning hockey stick. I can see why more become discouraged every quarter. Each of us must decide every day if the revenue glass is half empty or half full.

Years ago Snackman said that few turtles would reach the sea. Vultures and Demons still bar the shoreline, but I'm not going to argue with Dell, NEC, NTT, Lenovo, and all the others. Patience will equal prosperity. Some things, like walls seem unbreakable until they break. I'll wait for my Spring Break!
