Shasta, at times like these you should do whatever makes you sleep better at night. I am a LTBH person, I try to trade some positions, but most stocks I like I hold for years. The ups and downs bother me, but I accept them.

It sounds like you might have a more short term focus. If so, take some money off the table, sell a third or a half, or all. I think DVN is an excellent company with good price appreciation potential, but it may pull back and give you a good opportunity to rebuy lower. You should trust your instincts.
