Perhaps I'm just too cynical...But I think it is entirely plausible that this "downgrade" is just more smoke and mirrors by a brokerage to move the stock price of QCOM downward. This would allow BofA to buy more stock at a lower price and then turn right around and sell it back to its customers at a handsome profit.

Wasn't it just earlier in the week when the article was posted here stating that QCOM was having difficulty meeting demand? How, then, will the earning stream slow? ...It won't; and BofA knows it as well as anyone. But if they can spook the market down and profit from it, well, that would just be good business (for them).

I think it's the big brokerage houses playing the little guys and gals for chumps. Well, some of us are and some of us aren't IMHO...
