Wade, I always hate to hear that people are losing money. I had been tempted to ask the question of weather you had left the money in the bank. Your post answered that question and I think that is the smartest thing that you could have done. Some on this board will say that you were too early to do that, but one thing is for sure, hindsight is always 20/20. Nobody had any idea what the market would do when you put 1/2 of your money in the bank. Your stocks could all go to zero and you would still have that money. I have always been a proponent of giving yourself a payday from gains on the market. I did so in April 2000 by paying cash for the house that I now live in from money taken from market winnings.
This market is oversold, so maybe you will get the rebound next week that you are looking for. Good luck.
