Was discovery supposed to be over on 03/04 or do I have my dates mixed up? If discovery was supposed to be over by then, and Nokia's request for extension is denied as it should be, what will happen with the staff's report due on 03/24? As was pointed out by Revlis (I think it was Revlis) last time they asked for an extension, they just assumed it would be granted and didn't bother completing what was due on time as if their request for extension was a done deal. It will be an interesting month.

enyaw, cry and cry and cry all you they want to over at that honorable company who can't believe they are being treated that way. But as my folks used to say, "if you want to cry, I will give you something to cry for".

For the life of me I can't believe the parties to the ITC action don't have a firm idea as to where they stand. With just about 18 days to go to the staff attornies report is due, all the parties must be pretty much aware as to where their case is. And the way Nokia is filing motions all over the place they must not like the seat they have been assinged on the ITC rocket docket.

As I recall the staff attornies are involved in all aspects of the case including discovery and patent prosecution against Nokia and Samsuns infringing products. I feel very confident that the reverse engineering of the infringing products has been deemed properly done and confirms that the products infringe the patents.

Will Nokia settle at the court house steps like the did with the arbitration confirmation of Judge Pauley, that Nokia decided to appeal, drop and settle with IDCC for 2G. Or will they go all out to show us their big brass ones. I don't know what Nokia and Samsung will do, but I am staying tuned.
